01.Who We Are

NoYoYoDiet is an independent project founded by Ari J. Dornbusch, based in the State of New Jersey, United States. The NoYoYoDiet™ trademark has been applied for with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. The underlying invention is the subject of a pending provisional patent application (USPTO Application No. 64/033,304).

02.Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide Directly

When you contact us through the form on our Site, we collect the following personal information:

• Your name
• Your email address
• The subject category of your inquiry
• The content of your message

If you choose to email us directly at Hello@NoYoYoDiet.com, we will receive whatever information you include in that email.

B. Information Collected Automatically

When you visit the Site, certain information may be collected automatically by our hosting and form-processing providers, including:

• IP address
• Browser type and version
• Device type and operating system
• Pages visited and time spent on the Site
• Referring website (if any)

This information is used for basic security, fraud prevention, and understanding aggregate Site usage. We do not use it to build individual user profiles.

C. Information We Do Not Collect

At this time, we do not collect health information, nutritional data, weight data, medical history, or any other sensitive personal information through the Site. Any future collection of such information — for example, once the NoYoYoDiet application becomes available — will be governed by an updated privacy policy, and affected users will be notified.

03.How We Use Information

We use the personal information you provide for the following purposes:

• To respond to your inquiries, questions, or requests
• To communicate with you about partnerships, investor interest, press, or professional collaboration, when you have indicated such interest
• To send you updates about NoYoYoDiet's development, but only if you have specifically requested them
• To maintain the security and integrity of the Site
• To comply with applicable legal obligations

We do not use your information for automated decision-making or profiling.

04.Legal Basis (GDPR)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we rely on the following legal bases under the EU and UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) to process your personal information:

• Consent — when you voluntarily submit information through the contact form or request to receive updates. You may withdraw consent at any time.
• Legitimate interests — to respond to inquiries, maintain Site security, and operate our business in a reasonable manner. Where we rely on legitimate interests, we have assessed that these do not override your rights or freedoms.
• Legal obligation — where we are required to process information to comply with applicable law.

05.Who We Share Information With

We share personal information only with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the Site and respond to you. These currently include:

• Netlify — website hosting and form handling (United States)
• Microsoft 365 (Exchange Online) — email hosting for Hello@NoYoYoDiet.com
• Google (Google Fonts) — delivery of typography assets used on the Site

Each of these providers is contractually or legally bound to protect your information and to use it only for the purposes for which it was provided. We may also disclose information when required by law, legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of NoYoYoDiet, our users, or the public.

06.We Do Not Sell Your Data

NoYoYoDiet does not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise monetize your personal information to third parties. We have not sold personal information in the past twelve months, and we have no intention of doing so.

07.Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Policy:

• Contact form submissions and related correspondence: retained for up to 3 years from the date of last communication, unless a longer retention period is required by law or is reasonably necessary for legitimate business purposes.
• Automatic log data: retained for up to 90 days by default, subject to our providers' policies.

You may request deletion of your information at any time (see Section 09 and Section 10).

08.Cookies & Tracking Technologies

The Site uses a limited number of cookies and similar technologies for essential functionality, including:

• Cookies set by our hosting provider (Netlify) for basic site operation and security
• Cookies or equivalent technologies used by Google Fonts to serve typography

We do not currently use advertising cookies, third-party analytics cookies, or social media tracking pixels on the Site. You can control cookies through your browser settings. Disabling cookies may affect Site functionality.

09.Your Rights (EU / UK / Switzerland)

If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, you have the following rights regarding your personal information:

• Right of access — you may request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Right to rectification — you may ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information.
• Right to erasure — you may ask us to delete your personal information, subject to certain legal limitations.
• Right to restriction — you may ask us to limit how we process your information.

• Right to delete — your personal information, subject to certain legal exceptions.
• Right to correct — inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
• Right to opt out of sale or sharing — of personal information. As noted, we do not sell personal information.
• Right to limit use of sensitive personal information — we do not currently collect sensitive personal information through the Site.
• Right to non-discrimination — for exercising any of the rights listed above.

11.Children's Privacy

The Site is not directed to children under the age of 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16. If you believe we have inadvertently collected such information, please contact us at Hello@NoYoYoDiet.com and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

12.International Data Transfers

NoYoYoDiet is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the United States, please understand that your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States and other jurisdictions where our service providers operate. We take reasonable steps to ensure that such transfers are conducted in compliance with applicable data protection laws.

We take reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect personal information against unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, or destruction. However, no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
